September's Australian Magpie - 29 x 29 cm Print

If you call Australia home, you will be familiar with the iconic Australian Magpie. As spring brings warm weather, magpies fiercely defend their nests from potential threats including the innocent human passer-by. Magpie nests are resourceful creations, constructed from a combination of natural and urban materials. Some see the magpie as a pesky annoyance, but their resilience in an ever-changing urban habitat earns these intelligent and characteristic birds a special place in Australia culture.
